The hotel has beautiful internal, very well maintained gardens. The giant stained glass covering the inner courtyard gives a magical and colorful atmosphere to the hotel, artworks like the chapel have a late sixteenth-century virgin, and paintings from the Quito school that have been heirlooms still held as part of the decor.
The living room and its columns painted with gold leaf, window borders and friezes hand-painted by indigenous artists, the elegant furniture, cristal rock mirrors brought from Paris, and the carved wood dining room, which is a replica the Carondelet palace one. All these details give the visitor the privilege of being immersed in the unique atmosphere of an old Quito’s house.

It is a hotel located in an old restored house meters from the San Francisco church, right in the very centre of Quito. It is run by its very welcoming owners.
The rooms are decorated with very good detail and the whole house is like a museum .
