Flight to Galapagos San Cristobal (SCY) -El Junco Lagoon & Pto. Chino
For dinner you can try the local specialties, lobster is one of the most famous dishes, “El Cangrejo Loco” is a great restaurant recommended by the locals.
Kicker Rock Day Tour
After a delicious breakfast, go to the port and board the day trip to Kicker Rock or “Leon Dormido,” one of the best spots to snorkeling in the Galapagos. You can even spot HammerHead sharks and eagle rays, among many other species.
Transfer San Cristobal to Santa Cruz - Charles Darwin Foundation - Tortuga Bay Beach
Today wake up early to take the transfer to Santa Cruz. The boat departs at 7 am, the ride takes about 2:30 hours. It is better to sit at the ferry’s back because it is less bumpy. Once you arrive In Santa Cruz, visit the Charles Darwin foundation and then walk by the port to the Ninfas lake and head up for a short walk to Tortuga Bay Beach, there you can spend the rest of the afternoon, bring some water, sunscreen, snacks, and a towel to lie on the beach, shoes for walking as you have a short walk of about 30 minutes to get to the beach, once you get to the beach you will find playa brava, swim carefully here as it has strong currents. Keep going by the shore to the right. You will find a calm beach where you can swim snorkel or just rest, bring some insect repellent as there are some giant mosquitoes, for dinner, you can go on your own to walk by the port and walk through the many restaurants that offer a diverse menu—night in Santa Cruz.
Uninhabited Island Tour (Santa Fé, Plazas, Bartolomé, or Seymour)
Yacht tour to an uninhabited island. That will either be Santa Fé, Plazas, Bartolomé, or Seymour. The destination will depend on the National Park’s availability, weekday, and program. We will let you know which island is available when you book the tour. On Santa Fé and Plazas, you can spot endemic land iguanas. Bartolomé is known for its beautiful lava sceneries. You can see frigate birds, land iguanas, and blue-footed boobies on Seymour.
Transfer to Isabella - Volcan Sierra Negra Hike
Transfer from Santa Cruz to Isabella Island in the morning, check-in at the Hotel. On the afternoon tour to Sierra Negra Volcano. It has the second largest crater in the world. It is located in the most active volcanic areas of the Galapagos. The last activities were in July 2018.
Tintoreras Tour, Breeding Center and Flamingo Lake -Transfer to Santa Cruz
It starts with quick navigation (20 min) to the Tintoreras Islet. The Islet takes the name of the well-known withe tipped Galapagos Sharks (Tintoreras), in the same area we will find: sea lobsters, marine iguanas, blue whiting peacocks, Sally Lightfoot Crab, marine turtles, pelicans, and the peculiar penguins from Galapagos.
Then we will go snorkel. The site is ideal for this activity because many fish, starfish, urchins, stingrays, and beautiful sharks and sea lions swim on the site. Then visit the turtle Breeding center and the flamingo lake and Transfer to Santa Cruz.
